ZAC BUCHANAN KNIVES - EST 2008
In 2008 I joined my Father, Thad, in his knife shop full time. From that point on I became enamored with the art of making knives - from crafting timeless Loveless style blades to branching out with my own designs more recently. I am proud to carry on the legacy as a second generation knife maker.

FIVE DISTINCT LOGOS
You may notice that five distinct logos exist for Zac Buchanan Knives. Each serves a unique purpose or point in time. My original "ZJ Buchanan" logo was the first and is now retired. If you find a knife with this logo it was created between 2008-2011. The "Zac Buchanan" logo was created when I moved home to Eugene and had a full shop of my own beginning in 2012. This logo is still used upon request. In 2015 the crown and wings logo was created by my friend, Carlos Godinez. This is the default logo that is primarily used today. My father, Thad Buchanan continues to play a role in my knife making business every now and again. In this case you will find the "ZAC & THAD BUCHANAN" logo present. In 2020 the first "Zac" script logo was used. This is intended for special projects only.
